For best results please:
First and foremost, silk is a protein and does not hold on to odor, so unless the garment is dirty, you don't need to wash the item.
Spot cleaning:
Cold water and use a bit of shampoo (it is the best mild soap for silk), hang to dry in the shade, no sun.
If you would like to wash the complete garment, please get a bucket or fill your tub with cold water and a few drops of shampoo. Be gentle while washing the garment dunking it in and out of the bucket or tub for no more than 2-3 minutes. Rinse in cold water and hang to dry in the shade, no sun.
Ironing can be done directly on the garment on a low setting and irons beautifully.
